First hours in Amsterdam
Michelle and I were together for one year by now but haven’t been on a real holiday. So, for the one-year event I decided to surprise her and bought seats for all of us for Amsterdam. Prior to doing that I prepared a research and discovered Michelle hasn’t been there but the capital of the Netherlands was included in her list with desired destinations.
Just as I predicted, she was very happy and she couldn’t stop laughing and planning all through the meal we had in one of the nearby dining places. The minute we got to our apartment she started exploring the net and soon she showed me a long list of realistically charged Amsterdam apartments for rent, which had good key location and were absolutely furnished and fixed. We selected one that most appealed to us in terms of setting, inner surface and price and completed the reservation form. The very next morning we had a verification and began making our sightseeing and tour plan.
The town welcomed us sun-drenched and friendly and we found our Amsterdam vacation residence very quickly. The moment we unpacked, Michelle took the map and we headed for a short stroll along the waterways. I might say that the most attractive area in the capital of Netherlands is the old city, which is set in a kind of a semicircle with 5 canals and the Main Station. We made various pictures in the Rokin and Damark areas and the River Amstel. Actually, both me and Michelle lost track of time, since we were strolling along the tiny narrow roads and were contemplating the historic houses and the small islands, all connected by bridges. I was surprised how relaxing life is here and we loved that atmosphere while eating in a little restaurant, properly organized with plants. The beer in Amsterdam is excellent and I had a few more than I should have, so we went back to our Amsterdam apartment and instantly went to sleep.
